Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in women, yet sex-specific risks and presentations are often under-recognized. At WCC 2026, this session will highlight unique aspects of women’s cardiovascular health—from pregnancy-associated conditions (e.g., preeclampsia, SCAD) to post-menopausal risk shifts. Discussions will include clinical trial representation, gender bias in diagnostics, and the impact of social and psychological stressors. The goal is to empower gender-informed cardiovascular care and reduce disparities in outcomes.
